This tea canister is handcrafted with the unique "Ukigami" washi paper, a traditional Japanese handmade paper from Yamatsugi Washi Studio, featuring embossed patterns that become more endearing with every use.

The name "Ukigami" reflects its intricate raised patterns, which seem to float on the surface. Made with Yamatsugi Washi Studio's original embossing technique, this process creates precise edges and uniquely dynamic, three-dimensional designs.

Each piece is handcrafted, so the patterns and colours may vary between products. Additionally, there may be slight colour unevenness or minor dents on the underside of the lid, but please understand these as part of the handmade charm.

The surface is treated with pigments, so there is a possibility of color transfer if it rubs against other items.
Avoid using it in places exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods.
Be cautious of water exposure, as it may cause the washi paper to peel.
Do not place it near fire.
This is not an airtight container.
Since washi is made from natural materials, you may notice plant bark, fibres, or oils, but these do not affect its usability.
