Welcome to Toka Ceramics, where you can find quality Japanese ceramics and tablewares to create a beautiful and cozy ambience at your dining table.

We are a small family owned business based in the historic town of Milton, located on the NSW South Coast. Our aim here is to curate pieces that are aesthetically pleasing and practical at the same time. The shop opened it's door in 2021 and it is relatively small, but we hope we grow as time goes and will have opportunities to keep introducing many new amazing Japanese ceramics and artists to you.

If you know of any Japanese artists and ceramics that are not available to purchase in Australia, please let us know! We will be more than happy to help you own your dream piece.

陶花" (Tōka) in Japanese consists of two characters: "陶" meaning "ceramics" and "花" meaning "flower." This name represents the aspiration to create a space where simple ceramics evoke a sense of calm and warmth, akin to the way a charming bouquet of flowers does.
