Shoyo-Gama

Shoyo Gama is a historical kiln that inherits the long line of Tamba ware. The techniques have been passed down to the second and third generations from the original founder, over 800 years ago. They continue to create modern and practical vessels based on traditional techniques.

Shoyo Gama is located high on a hill. This elevated position provides a vast view of the Tamba mountains, where they draw inspiration for their work.
