Named after the Japanese word for dawn, the Akebono Bowl captures nature’s fleeting beauty through its mesmerising glaze. Each piece reflects yohen—the kiln’s unpredictable transformations - making it truly unique.

Handcrafted by Shinkougama in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, this bowl adds refined elegance to any table or interior space.

These bowls are so pretty

The bowls are gorgeous, with such a beautiful glaze. The shape of the bowl is conical, with a wide mouth, and look absolutely stunning. I look forward to buying more in the larger sizes, and in any other dinnerware type that is available.
