Its ridged design, matte texture, and sturdy form create a warm, earthy feel, making it the perfect companion for your daily rituals.
Each cup is carefully handcrafted in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

Tamba Ware

Tamba Ware is recognised as one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns, with origins dating back to the late Heian period (around 1185). Traditionally made for everyday use, Tamba pottery is known for its practical forms and earthy character. Many kilns continue the full handmade process - from preparing the clay to firing in anagama or noborigama wood-fired kilns. During firing, pine ash naturally settles and melts into the surface, creating the signature natural ash glaze (haiyū) that gives each piece its unique and expressive appearance.
