Beautiful Turquoise colour plate. "Shinogi" is applied around the rim carefully by skilled craftsmen. "Shinogi" is a decorative technique whereby ridgelines are carved on the surface.
It is solid and has an earthy texture due to the coarse clay used for creating this plate.
Handcrafted in Shiga prefecture in Japan.
